OT: You guys should never use full service brokerage
    Total in account currency: USDXXXXXX.00
    Brokerage: USD460.16
    XXX e-banking rebate: USD89.47-
    Refinancing costs: USD-
    Federal Stamp Duty: USD38.35
    Fund fees: USD-
    Settlement amount: USDXXXX.00

bought some stocks. 460 dollars brokerage fee...that is about 66 times higher than scottrade. stamp duty is pretty expensive too. i guess i have to hold these stocks for a long long time.

$460??? Thats insane! Those guys can reduce their commissions you know. I'd call the guy up and tell him to take 35% off that trade and be firm.

The only time I use full service is to buy bonds.

i usually talk to my financial advisor before i buy things. today i didn't, can't believe they charge 460 dollars plus stamp duty which is close to 500 dollars. oh man, i guess my financial advsor wasn't BSing me when she said there are extra fees. now i realized these sportsbook problems are nothing compare to the shit happens in the financial market. imo, sports gambling is much more pure and transparent than the financial market...the sharks there are way more sophiscated.
