Most teams could care less about the spread, they only care about winning. Betting ML's makes your interests similar to the team you're backing.

99% bet spreads, ML's is where it is at though, better to play only dog ML's that have a good chance of hitting IMO, barely anyone hits 50% anyway so might as well take shots like Boise Monday and Iowa tuesday +200 dogs winning

When I bet large, it's usually ML.. and -300+
team must be at home and info must dictate that they just WILL NOT LOSE THIS GAME.
In those cases like Purdue last night I will lay the big bucks for as little as 20% payout..
