Last year when teams had to play without their star player due to injury or suspension, 9 times out of 10 they covered the spread and won ML in about a third of the time. Wizards are the obvious play after square money drives the line up.

Arenas only played 15 games the last two years, and the Wizards went a combined 77-85-2 ATS.

Wiz are probably a better team without Arenas. WAS is the play.
[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.
why not parlay hawks -1700 and cavs -1800 for a better payout

Wizards look pretty pathetic so far. Shaq gets a flagrant and they look like they've woken up now...

Thank you Mac. I clicked into this thread to say those exact words minus the stats. If you have been betting for any significant amount of time, it is a known rule to always bet the team that is with out its star. In the initial game that is.

bro - im on the cavs as well, but dont take this approach in the nba. just because a star player is out means nothing for a few reasons:
a) the books adjusted the line
b) there is usually a more then capable backup waiting
now when a pure distributor who really runs the team like deron, billups etc is out, then i would hesitate on betting that team.
but dont ever look to pound a play just because a "star" player is out.....the wizards know how to play without arenas.
heres hoping to a cash though

Yep, not in the initial game but Taylor got it done tonight. Fade the Wizards in the next 2 games.
