#4I'm not sure Arenas could have played this worse if he'd tried...
From bringing in his guns to the locker room...
To making jokes about it...
To "shooting" his team mates last night...
To calling Stern "mean" last night in a post game interview...
Who knew Agent Zero was his IQ...

#8He should be suspended for rest of season. If this was any ordinary workplace you would be fired. Only in sports can you draw guns on each other and still make millions.Comment -

#24Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports cites a NBA source who says, "[David] Stern feels like he's been taunted by [Arenas]. He's done for the year... at the very least."
Between Arenas' incessant tweeting and using his fingers as fake guns on Tuesday -- the same day that he reportedly said "Stern is mean" -- he clearly got The Commish's attention in the worst way possible. We would be very surprised to see Arenas appear in another game this season, and it sounds like Stern could push for even more. Though he may have been acting in what he thought was an innocuous, fun-loving manner, the sum effect is that Arenas made the wrong person very angry, and is now going to pay the price. I'm also guessing that he'll be calling the Utah Jazz soon if he hasn't already. I don't think the AK-47 nickname is going to be used much longer.Comment -

#31I think he should now be worried about jail time and not just losing money. I don't understand how you made a statement initiatlly and said it was no joke and then do this when you know cameras are watching his every move. You know that the system will want to make a statement as well now as there is no place for this when the younger crowd sees this. Its unfortunate that these players are forced to apologize by their lawyers when they don't believe it themselves. He got what was deserved and really aplaud Stern for his quick action.
The Wizards should cancel his contract and release him. If you give him an incentive laden contract it doesn't make the team better as he will just play for his stats. They have a nice nucleus of players and that should be what they are heading towards.Comment -
