FCCG Says Day Trading is Gambling in its Most Addictive Form
The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling, based out of Altamonte Springs, Florida, has announced today that day trading is highly addictive.

In a statement, Pat Fowler, executive director of FCCG said, "There's more gambling going on in the stock market than all other forms of gambling combined. And for some people, it will end up having the same impact on their lives as compulsive gambling."

The statement comes just two months after Casino Gambling Web's own Terry Goodwin released an extensive report on how online day trading is actually more easy to start, and actually more addictive than any other form of gambling.

In her position as executive director, Ms. Fowler has seen the very worst effects of day trading. She has seen what obsession and addiction from day trading can do to destroy families. Ms. Fowler also acknowledged that there are many day traders who do fine, or get out before it is too late. "Others" she said, "will get addicted to the... adrenaline rush... and the result will be financial ruin."

Fowler sites examples of how day trading can ruin peoples lives, such as; college students amassing such losses they must drop out of school to repay the huge debt, a grandmother who turned embezzler to pay for her addiction, or a businessman who turned to selling drugs to cover his losses.

"Our concern is that there's no warning on the cigarette package, so to speak" Fowler said. "No real disclaimer."

Unlike online day trading, online gambling has vessels in place to stop problem gamblers fro gambling online. Internet financial transaction sites such as Neteller made it possible for people with problems to limit themselves from gambling online too much. Of course, since the United States arrested the founders of Neteller those safeguards are no longer available for online gamblers.

The Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling hot-line is 1-888-236-4848. The program they offer helps people with gambling problems and their families and friends cope with their struggles.

The United States legislature is currently facing much heat from Americans who are begging for Internet gambling regulation so that problem gamblers can be protected.

Some people never accept that, once you're 18, you are responsible for your own actions. I'm so f*cking sick and tired of this babysitting attitude. Addicted to the adrenaline rush? Fine. Then that is what you're buying.

"Our concern is that there's no warning on the cigarette package, so to speak" Fowler said. "No real disclaimer."
That's the problem?! Apart from the fact that this isn't stopping people from smoking, try signing up for online trading. Plenty of warnings.

There definately are warnings when you sign up especially if you are in futures.. You get many warnings in that game... You are definately gambling in futures as well as in mutual funds... To me gambling is when there is a calculated risk that you can lose some or all of your money be it 1% or 91%... Any chance that you can lose your gambling not if it's illegal or sports or whatever... Gambling is gambling....
