I was part of a staff that applied for the Valdosta job. We were told we finished 3rd. The man that applied for the head job I was with had letters of recommendation from several SEC coaches where we had sent kids plus the Steelers organization and some ex NFL all pros. I can't imagine anyone who had that type of recommendations but they gave it to the guy from Southern. I was ready to pack my bags.

You might have dodged a bullet there Seer. You would have been paid good but Valdosta is the Notre Dame of high school football now. Lowndes has taken over that city and the guy who was on MTV's football show at Hoover is coaching in the same region. They expect to be 10-0 and play for the championship every year. Valdosta is the only place I've seen that scalps high school football game tickets.

its one of the diagnostic prisons. anyone with over a yr has to go through diagnostics than get sent somewhere else, although some stay there.
I believe it does have a death row also.

Yes, it is bad on the low. My sister works around white people that are in the loop and know what is really going on and she was told to not go certain places in these little backwood places or she could easily come into harm. It's not going on so much in the urban places of Metro Atlanta but these little rural cities on the outskirts hell yeah.
