    Do I have that right?

Dallas wins they win the NFC East and host Philly again next weekend.

GB wins and they go right back out to Arizona again next weekend.

    That is odd and dumb.

They need to expand the playoffs to 16 teams like NCAA basketball. Sweet 16, then Elite 8, Final Four and Superbowl. Most teams are resting players the last two weeks and then they get a bye on top of that. This is dumb.

Hell no. Making the playoffs should mean something. Allowing half the teams in the league to make it is stupid. Plus, it makes winning division titles even less important.

They need to do something about resting the players the last 2 weeks. Either cut the season short to 14 games or allow more teams in the playoffs and get rid of the bye week. The way is set up now teams get 3 bye weeks in a row since they rest the starters.

What about in baseball when teams who are locked in to playoffs rest their starting pitchers and position players and set up rotation for playoffs?

They play 162 games in baseball. This is the best system to determine who is the best teams for the playoffs because of variance.

With 16 games in football there is not that much difference between two 9-7 or 10-6 teams. Most times who gets in and who gets out in tiebreakers is not fair.

Of course, just watch the Bengals tonight.

Better yet, the last two Colts games.

I agree with you on the Bengals tonight. Do they want to play a rookie qb in the first round, or do they want to play the Texans who beat them at home earlier in the season?
