I was really sickened by Welker being injured. After the Pats got in a groove with the new guy, I was pleasantly a little more optimistic. We can still win without Welker. We better. I took The Pats on the money line!

The stat geek page you referenced also neglects to take the fact they would've still had to punt into their equation. Which makes it worthless.
No play takes 10 seconds unless the Pats broke open a 50yd run or something, which wouldve ended the game for all intent and purposes. Colts had 8 guys in the box and any running play wouldve lasted no more than 3 seconds.
But we can argue about how much time wouldve been left or how much time Peyton needs to score a TD til the cows came home but my point was they wouldve had to punt it regardless and you even proved that I was 100% right.Comment -
