I'm more of a "lookie lou" than anything else. But when you bump meaningless threads from five years ago it makes it even harder to navigate to the new topics.

I think overall the mods do a pretty good job. I can always go to the archives and read the old stuff but I don't feel a need to bring it to PT.

It's history, not current events. Just my two cents.

most other forums i see, people are actually encouraged to bump old threads if they want to talk about a similar topic that's already been covered. in fact, they get pissed if you DON'T use the 'search' button to find and bump up old thread.
