    Pac 10 is overrated
Big Ten is not the worst conference. This year that award goes to the pac-10. Lay down and roll over some more please.

I honestly felt Stanford and Tenn was a terrible match up game. I wanted a team with more wins in there but w/e. The 2nd half was unwatchable.

The real question here is... UCLA was in a bowl game?

They didn't lose, they really didn't seem to be in the game...I mean the score didn't reflect that but to me, it seemed like they tried to scheme themselves into a win instead of just playing...I don't know how to describe it. Its like they out thought or outdid themselves at times in the game.

              PS

Ducks to give a scholarship to there kicker, there current kicker blows (might have helped them out a bit)

Oregon and Arizona were the only disappointments. Other teams fared about right against bowl competition. BYU plays more games in Las Vegas than any other team other than UNLV, home away from home, Cal never played two straight weeks after USC/OU beatdowns, Stanford played well in loss, and UCLA just wanted to play period.

I usually think the pac 10 is extremely overrated but Stanford playing without Luck really hampered their chances. They probably win that game with Luck.

Oregon St. had nothing to play for. They almost made the Rose bowl and instead they get to play BYU in a pointless bowl game. They had nothing to play for in that game.

I agree with seaborn, Zona and Oregon were the only real disappointments.

Oregon played like they partied all night. They basically went through the motions, though Tressell should be congratulated for finally opeing up his offense. There was simply no excuse for Arizona. They were flat out pathetic. Oregon State and Cal ran into that buzz saw that was the MWC. Stanford covered, and played very well, especially without Luck. USC and UCLA also won and covered, so 3-4 ATS is not the worst result in the world. I thought the Pac 10 would be down and they were.

Next year expect improvment out of USC. Oregon will be favored to win the Pac 10 and will be tough again. Washington is going to be much improved. Oregon State needs to find a QB but they will be in the picture. Washington State will improve, but they still need a lot of help. The others lose a ton of players, though UCLA and Stanford will return their QB's. I see a two team race between USC and Oregon, who will be favored by many to win the Pac 10 again. Washington could be the sleeper.

Agreed...Pac-10 was bad this year (2-5). Maybe the MWC should be given a chance.

They are the worse in basketball also. I think the Atlantic 10 is better than the Pac 10 this year.

Same ol arguments over and over. Pac-10 sucks, Big-10 sucks, Sec is unbelievable, blah blah blah. Bottom line is that no conference is as good or as bad as they may seem. It is difficult to judge the strength of a conference on a small sample size of 6 or 7 games. Maybe the Pac-10 just had bad matchups this year? The pac-10 was 5-0 in bowls last year. Does this mean that they were the best conference last year and they are the worst this year. Absolutely not. They are not much different this year than they were last. Are we gonna say the SEC is an average conference now? They have bowl losses to the big east, big ten, and two to the acc. Ark and Aub barely won in OT as large favorites......

Pretty much agree with this...Bowl Season is a whole new season. Pac 10 did a poor job preparing for it, Don't forget USC beat Ohio State @ Ohio State and UCLA beat Tennessee at Tennessee... and the ACC got beat up by the Colonial Conference...How bout them?

I think the SEC is very pedestrian this year. After you get to there top tier, I see nothing that tells me this conference is screaming I'm better than your conference.

Pac 10 was 5-0 LAST YEAR IN BOWL GAMES.

What's the Big 10's record in BCS bowl games over the last decade...

With the fall of USC, the Pac-10 has a lot more parity. However, the conference's credibility does take a hit when USC underperforms.
