#38Define professional handicapper OTW. Just the idea of taking out a loan to gamble throws up a red flag...especially if there is interest involved.Comment -

UtEot, just get a nice two door, something a couple years old. Put a system in it, and you got a sweet ride for way less than 25K.

if a person knows what they are doing they should be able to grow a bankroll over time and gradually transition to the point of gambling supporting them more and more
a person will KNOW what they are doing if they can do that. this sudden flipping of the switch will usually end badly. you have to know the losing will hit hit from time to time and how to deal with it.
maybe otw does know what he is doing but getting a big loan to gamble is a horrible idea because most of the time it ends very badly. it is possible to make it work but you have to be both a good capper and good at managing money and the emotions of wins/loses.
unless otw has a consistent, proven track record over mulitple years of winning then he has no business doing this.Comment -

10% down is nothing. I want to look at Cars tomorrow. I want to pay cash though, but it's still a risk. Used Cars are such a gamble.

#62Does anyone really believe he got a 25K unsecured loan to start this venture?
That is not possible in today's LEGAL lending world.
Unless he sold an organ, or put up 35K in collateral----he didn't get a 25K loan.Comment -
