you can call it an upset if you want.. just look at last season of AI.. everyone loved adam lambert and not many wanted Kris Allen to win. but kris allen won and people were mad.. but some were happy. this was same thing..

Maybe but I think not. Paver does not have the "dogs" that Bread has, the "following".

You made this decision for 2 reasons:

1. You let emotion influence your decision. "Amount of time invested by the combatants" melted your heart, turned you into a girl. "Quality" of posts (or the appalling lack of such, in Bread's case and thus...the shock/entertainment value of posts) should have been the barometer.

2. You knew this decision would be controversial. Bread winning would not have been. You could not, in the end, resist the temptation to see some shit hit a fan.

I don't watch Idol either of course but made an exception when Lambert came to my attention. The guy was off the chart in terms of vocality (singing ability and range), delivery (singing style) and stage presence.

Then he had to go all over the top with the coming out of the closet and being gay and proud of it deal....Idol had "inklings" that this would be his route after Idol and thats why Lambert lost. Idol knew this guy would hurt himself, career-wise, with his loose cannon ways....

In terms of entertainment value brought to the table though, Lambert was the clear winner....not even close.
