    Bettson is stealing money
    Hi,
    Happy new year to all.
Betsson is stealing. I requested a withdrawn and they closed my account with the following message:
Thank you for your email to Betsson.

We don’t like to lose players, but have to inform you that after a thorough investigation by our Risk and Fraud team into your gaming activities, we’ve decided to close your account permanently.

Please know that this decision was made after careful consideration of all the evidence and that Betsson won’t respond to anymore conversations related to this case.

As per our terms and conditions:

    3.1.9.
    You shall not be involved in any fraudulent, collusive, fixing or other unlawful activity in relation to Your or third parties’ participation in any of the Games and shall not use any software-assisted methods or techniques or hardware devices for Your participation in any of the Games. BETSSON hereby reserves the right to invalidate or close Your Member Account or invalidate Your participation in a Game in the event of such behaviour;

    10. Anti-money laundering reporting

    10.1.
BETSSON complies with the Anti-Money Laundering Act. BETSSON shall report any suspicious transaction to the relevant competent authorities in Malta .

    10.2.
If You become aware of any suspicious activity relating to any of the Games of the Website, You must report this to BETSSON immediately.

    10.3.
BETSSON may suspend, block or close Your Member Account and withhold funds if requested to do so in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

    11. Breaches, penalties and termination

    11.1.
If You breach any provision of these T&C or BETSSON has a reasonable ground to suspect that You have breached them, BETSSON reserves the right not to open, suspend, close Your Member Account, withhold payment of Your winnings and apply such funds on account of any damages due by You.

    11.2.
If BETSSON suspects that You are engaged in illegal or fraudulent activities when using the Website; or in breach of this Agreement; or that You are having problems with creditors or otherwise detrimental to our business, we may freeze or terminate Your account or cancel any stakes at our absolute discretion.

    11.3.
You acknowledge that BETSSON shall be the final decision-maker of whether You have violated Betsson’s rules, terms or conditions in a manner that results in BETSSON’s suspension or permanent barring from participation in our site.

    Have a nice evening!

Also for this I contacted sportsbookreview.com and they did not help at all. They said to me that betsson is right and I am wrong. These sites it is not suppose to help us? They get paid from them? I don't understand.
Also sportsbookreview said to me that if you make a bet from same ip, and also a friend or somebody else make a bet from same ip but different account, this is wrong and they can close your account and get your balance. This is the answer from sportsbookreview. That means that if you make a bet from internet cafe then betsson will close your account because maybe somebody else make a bet from same internet cafe. This is betsson rule and also sportsbookreview supporting this. I think sportsbookreview is getting paid from bookmakers to do that.
    Thanks

I have investigated about 20 cases where a player was making bets from an "internet cafe". In every single one, there were other identity problems. If a book says you cannot share IP addresses, that's fair - even if it means you cannot bet from a free IP location.

But there is no meaning for a book to say that. I can make my bet only by home? We have also a life, and sometimes we are out for a coffee and want to make a bet, or even we go out of country. The fair is to have restrictions? This is unfair and I can make my bet whenever I want. And please do not support them. They just want to take money and not to pay the players. They took all my money from my account just because I make a bet in internet cafe. This is betsson

I really think u did something fishy. I have an account both at Bwin and one at Betsson. One year ago I "moved" money from my bwin poker account to my betsson poker account after me and my friend had tried different pot scenarios with my accounts, because I thought the rake was too high. Nothing that affected anyone, it was on a heads-up table and there were no bonuses involved. The only one it affected was me since i paid 9 dollars in rake to move about 70 dollars, which was really stupid, because I paid more than 10 % in fee (rake) to move the money and the poker account was closed. I tried to play again one year later just of curiousity, not because i like the poker room, becuase the tournament fees are high and the rake is also high. When I asked the poker account to be opened, Betsson closed my other account. I sent my documents they asked for and explained what I had done and after one month the account was re-opened.

        This is also Betsson.

Pretty much all bookmakers will suspect something if they receive identical bets from different accounts from the same IP.

Whether it is fair or not is debatable but multi-accounting is widespread and books do have to have some sort of protection. Thus the rules that they have and that you should be aware of.

If this is a geniune mistake by you and there is no evidence of bonus abuse or circumventing limits then, IMHO Betsson should refund your account balance. On the basis of Justin7´s message, however it would appear that there may be, at the very least, question marks on this front.

I am very confident that SBR is paid precisely zero by Betsson.
