I don't know what the state "officially" does or drops, but I'm from a small imbred village. As a kid on 4th July & New years we'd pack pipe bombs with black powder & light them. Shake the ground for about 2 miles. Ahhhh, childhood memories. Back when 8ft of pipe stock, blasting caps, 5 gallon drum of gunpowder in the garage didn't mean you were a terrorist, it meant you were awesome!
