What happens if you don't pay your tickets in Minnesota?
Back in 2005 I did a favour for a buddy and drove a busload of soccer players and their parents for a two week tournament in Minneapolis from Toronto in one of his tour buses.

I got a couple of tickets in Anoka County MN - for not having my logbook up to date and for not having the proper sticker on the bus.

    I still haven't paid them.

What does Minnesota do when you have unpaid fines?

Sickler I doubt I'll ever visit the USA again.

I was busy back in 2005, did a few Boston/NYC trips from Toronto and had been to visit family in Florida many times but once the US Customs found out about a conviction I had from 1993 they tell me I need a waiver to enter the US from now on.

The waiver procedure is basically supplying alot of info to the FBI and immigration for the privledege of entering the USA, fvck that. Since all my family has returned to Canada there is no reason I'd want to visit anyways, well except for Illini.

I won't be giving my detailed personal info to a foreign government, especially the USA.

I have a Canadian and Italian passport and can travel freely in every other country on the planet.

Plom, I read before about you being on their unwelcome list.

A buddy and I got into some trouble in Quebec in the early 90's. Went to court, was hit with several fines. They really piled on those fines, probably because we were from Ontario. We didn't pay, they couldn't enforce it across borders.

I used to have a criminal record which would cause trouble with entering the US, but I got a pardon. It was not difficult - but I'm sure it depends on the severity and circumstances of the crime. Mine was just childish shit when I was a teenager. Now it is all forgotten.

The problem with these policies is it doesn't take into account the circumstances. If you have a felony drug conviction, it's just that, a felony drug conviction. Caught with a pound of blow or 100 kilos. It's treated as the same. Am I right about this?

I don't know. I would think the details are taken into account inasmuch as someone convicted of Attempted Murder the same day I got convicted of Public Mischief would not get a pardon so easily.

But the situation you described of different degrees of the same conviction - no idea.

You are 100% correct. This is the reason our prisons are packed full. And yes with petty drug dealers and users. We were all hoping with the new administration shit would change. B.S

ever since Ventura became the gov. they have endorsed the "chipper-shredder" form of sentencing. for what was described the high court would probobly just put your shin bone or a hand in the device and give you some gauze.

                        That's internally.

I'm Canadian. How does the US treat foreign "criminals" wishing to enter their country?

Of course, Betplom hasn't paid them. All democrats skirt their responsibilities.

However, if a couple of unpaid tickets stops this guy from coming to the U.S., then I just assume he never pay them.

What a scammer. Now this hardened criminal is sneaking across the border to vote in US elections.

When will it end with these Commie Canadians...

Recent changes in Minnesota legislation will allow you to pay your fines with SBR points...or just send SBR pizzas to the Governor's office.

If you choose the SBR pizza method, please make sure your name and ticket number are stamped in the crust of the underside of the pizza.
