Bad Beat of the Year Thread
Everyone post up your worst Bad beat of the year....this should bring up some pretty interesting stories....

I think mine was a half court fade away Buzzer beater to cover the spread. The final score on the screen of the TV even had stated that it didn't count and so did ESPN.com. After further looking into it...official scorer said that the half court did count and I had lost my bed.

Not this year, but my worst bad beat ever...many posters will remember this.

July 4, 2008. Fourth of July. Marlins up 15-4 on Rockies and lose 19-18.

The Bulls/Kings game when Bulls blew a 35 point lead to lose and blow the cover. Awful

i don't remember any in particular. the weird sorta bad beat that I remember i think came a bit before 2009 started... that SD/Pittsburgh game where Troy Polomalu grabbed a lateraled ball during the last chance play by SD and took it into the End Zone, giving the Steelers the cover... but then the reversed it for some reason that seemed like BS

I actually lost on that one too...even though I had actually won...but the reversal (which was wrong) screwed me out of a couple hundred.

                      Wow so easily this:

Someone left up a ton of Drexel +4.5 +117 when WA was 3.5. No one noticed so I scooped it up and then of course didn't hedge enough:

So the result was of course this:

"Things happen for a reason, they say, but I say there's a reason things happen"

"Not everybody talks, but everybody lies / Not everybody lives, but everybody dies"
