    Tonight, I Dine in Hell!
Just ponied up a little bit more in a book today and got a $100 free play. Gonna bust a nut betting during the day until I get finished working in about 9 hours. This is likely to go down in flames, so by the end of the night ... as Leonidas said, TONIGHT - WE DINE IN HELL!

Good luck with the last day's worth of struggles in 2009. Will be posting my wagers in this thread all day, use the information as you wish - fading would be my advice and I think I can make you a winner today! Can't believe I forgot my whiskey at home!

It's cool. I shouldn't be alive in that tournament. The further I advance, the dirtier I feel - but SBR points make me clean.

2009 'DINE IN HELL' Pick #1: Air Force FB Jared Tew Rushing Yards OVER 79.5 (-130)
Gotta look deep to bag up a cheap win. This one looks like a superb shot if you believe Air Force will keep the Armed Forces Bowl competitive. Seeing as they played Houston tough twice in 2008, I think it is fairly likely. Tew averages almost 18 carries per game for the Falcons this season with 797 yards on 212 carries. He has topped this total in 4 of the last 6 games with 19 carries being the magic number for him to get above 80 yards in all four games. Last season as a sophomore, Tew didn't do much damage in the regular season meeting with the Cougars with just 4 carries for 22 yards. However, in the re-match in this same bowl game in 2008 - Tew crushed Houston for 149 yards on 27 carries. Houston's rush D is giving up over 200 yards per game this season. So long as Air Force remains in this game, Tew should hopefully get his 18 carries or better and there's no reason to believe Houston is going to start playing defense today.

            2009 'DINE IN HELL' PICK #2: Troy/UL-Monroe OVER 158.5 (-105)
This started at 3pm ET. Got it in, but didn't have a lot of time to write something up. Both defenses give up more than 72. Troy scores a lot. High total. High octane defenses that like to yield points. Daddy's going to the pay window.

                2009 'DINE IN HELL' PICK #3: Montana/Idaho State OVER 125 (1-05)
Montana is an efficient offensive squad that shoots almost 47% from the floor and averages over a point per possession. They dine on a defense in Idaho State that yields almost 1.09 points per possession. The Bengals do enough on offense per possession to give this low total some help against a stingy Grizz D. Last year both meetings met at 143 by game's end. Idaho State has just three home dates so far this season, tallying 207 points for an average close to 70 ppg. They need to step up as this senior-laden squad was picked by some to be as high as 3rd in the Big Sky. In the first conference game for both, a win is important - but possibly more-so for the Bengals who are just 3-10. Idaho State lost a lot of games to tough teams on the road like Notre Dame, USC, Boise State & Utah. The one constant though is that their defense has had trouble shutting teams down. Magic number time: If Montana gets 67 this is a done deal as Idaho State should be able to get at least 60 at home, even against a tough defense.

Having to hydrate for now. Probably the best as I've got a party to get to in about 5 hours at which time I should be sufficiently sheet-fisted in about an hour and a half. Course I coulda brought some back to work with me this afternoon and totally spaced on it.

                            2009 'DINE IN HELL' PICK #5: Oregon State/Washington OVER 135.5 (-105)
The Beavers shoot the rock well and that should help them score enough here, although the Huskies D will stifle them. OSU averages 63 ppg, while Washington gives up closer to 70 due to their tempo. The Huskies are averaging 83.5 ppg this season and have played just one total less than this - when they defeated Montana earlier in the season, 63-59. Otherwise, 137 is the next lowest total. Last year's two meetings finished at 139 & 143. Magic number time, Beavers get to 62 and this is doneski.

Happy Trails 2009! What a fantastic view you make in the mirror!

Hells yeah. 5-0. Clean sweep. Not sure why I am awake, might still be drunk. Sounds like the perfect storm for pissing away money!
