I am not proud of the number of posts I have here and I'm embarrassed seeing the number grow every day. I wish we don't show it so prominently so that the newcomers are not intimidated and also don't think we are fukkin losers.

Pavy is right. Having a high post count is not good and somewhat loser-ish.
However I look at it this way: any embarrassment I feel is the result of vanity, a useless emotion that must be overcome.
I bear the embarrassment saying to myself, "This is who I am. I am human and imperfect. I have faults and foibles. Accept me for who I am or get bent."
