How do I get "even" with a Bulldog ?

I was ****ing around with an American Bulldog =, belongs to my step-daughter and fiance.

Pretty big hyper doggie, like 80-90 lbs, and strong as **** !

Dogger head butted me, gave me a bloody nose, but I was ****ing around with him...

I want revenge ( not really)!

need advice, actually not, just getting my 6 points.

Dogger ( Cabo is his name), lives 15 miles away, Bulldogs are dumber than my wife.

I'd like to bring him to my condo for a week, but my Cooter would be pissed ( Cat, not wife), and dogs over 30 lbs are against the rules...I might pull it off for a week, though ?

This dog has to sleep with you, so does the cat ( Cooter). I'm kind of fat, only have a queen size bed ( then there's the wife, but she's small)....Cooter takes up enough space on the bed already....but I think the cat would be hiding behind the the furnace, if Cabo visited for a week !

Cabo would be like huge in the bed !

Damn, I can't believe no one has talked about dogs and pack mentality. Every dog's natural instinct is to be the alpha dog, which is the leader of the pack. Even a little shitty lap dog will try to be the alpha dog if no one stops it, but they are easily put into their place. And a big bulldog or any physically powerful dog will attempt to assume the alpha dog role in any group setting: whether that is with other dogs or with humans!

You cannot let this happen. If a dog thinks they have it over on you, they will never respect you as a superior being. As a man, YOU are the alpha dog over any dog, and you have to prove it with every dog you encounter (especially those you have to live with).

Here is what I do with all of my dogs: When they are puppies, they are playful and teething and mindless little runts, so their nipping and biting is just a natural phase of their youth. As they grow older, and turn into 80 or 90 or 150 pound killing machines, they will eventually get serious and test you with a physical confrontation. This may come during a playful wrestle or when you are trying to discipline them. When this happens, you MUST take control and establish yourself as the ALPHA DOG leader of their pack.

The best way to do this is with a choke hold. I know, it sounds terrible, but it works every time. When any dog attempts to assume the alpha dog role by challenging you with their physical strength, immediately pounce on them, take them to the ground and choke their neck with both hands while you are crouched over them staring them in the eyes with great menace. Keep a tight grip on their neck and tighten it even more as their eyes bulge with panic and fear as they realize you are about to kill them. It is also recommended that you cuss at them while you are choking them, growling something like, "Don't ever fuk with me you fukkin mutt or I'll fukkin kill your fukkin ass!" After a sufficient period of time of 15 or 20 seconds, your message will be delivered and you can let go of the dog's neck. They will slink away with their tail tucked down between their legs, grateful that you let them live, and you will have established yourself as the alpha dog to that particular dog.

If you do it right, this only needs to be done once and the dog will never challenge you again. And if it ever does, repeat this routine. Even a 180-pound Doberman or Rottweiler will knuckle under your power if you perform this ritual on them. It is best to do this while the dog is still young and unsure of its own physical power (which might shred another human into pieces). Trust me, the dog will harbor no ill feelings towards you; in fact, they will only love you even more as their master and leader.

Chocolate is bad on a dog's digestive system. Contrary to popular belief, it will not kill them, but more likely make them throw up. It will certainly not make a dog regret any aggressive action they have taken towards a human.

Bear in mind, a dog's memory only lasts a few minutes. Everything that happens outside that range is just a new experience for them. That's why it takes so much time to house train them. And why they are so happy to see their masters even if their masters have only been gone from the house for half an hour.
