I text him what is clippers line. He texts back Clippers +3 (it really should be -3) so I hammered it hard and he texts back play is in. He will never actually know the line come next week because he just goes off his texts. Would you all do the same?

Own up to it. It's not worth it for one play, especially if he's a good, reliable local. Don't potentially turn him off by playing a bad line. Plus, if he catches on, he has all the cards. You win, bad line. You lose, doesn't say a word.

Tell him it's a bad line and just play Clips -3 for a normal wager.

He may not ever know but I wouldn't do it. don't wanna test fate and he might respect if you tell him. It won't get you anything but no need to take advantage.

betphoenix had arsenal +450 today. should have been -450

i ignored it. 2 years ago i would have taken the risk

Just text him and told him clippers is actually -3 not +3 and to cancel the bet all together. Last night I wanted to play thunder 1q and text him my bet and he replies it's already 11-2 kings. Plenty of other good plays. Thanks gang

Why did you ask him what the line is if you already knew the line?

Maybe he is offering Clipps at +3? How the hell are you ever supposed to win if you're helping the bookie.

Guy wont give you a chance when you bet a bad line.

But it is all contextual and depending on the relationship, if any, you have with the guy.

I guess we should hammer clippers because you know they will win now.

Edit: maybe not, they're down 10 early, but it is the nba.
