Betcha.com enters the SBR rating guide
Anyone here ever play there yet. If so how do you like it?

Ebay-style sports betting exchange, Betcha.com enters the SBR rating guide at D-
The Seattle, Washington and Canada-based exchange is attempting to facilitate the matching of bets between two users for a fee. This model was deemed illegal by the Nevada Gaming Commission which arrested WagerFree (SBR rating F-) owner Garet Bradford. Bradford also claimed to be only facilitating bets between "club members." Despite the consumer fraud element to Mr. Bradford's scam operation, authorities ultimately charged WagerFree's owner with two felony counts relating to operating a gambling business without a license.

No, its not saying that Betcha.com is a scam. Its saying that the same way they are trying to get around the system another site tried to do it and got caught. However I think quite soon we will be reading about this site going offline.

To start a company like this in the present climate seems more like an act of defiance than smart business planning. My money will not be at risk there, but good luck to them.

          "Honor-based?"
Gambling platforms are compulsory (and, in the U.S., illegal). The Betcha platform is honor-based. You pay your losses not because you have to, but because you should. When you do you're usually rewarded. When you don't -- you have to live with your reputation. And with your Honor Rating displayed almost everywhere you go, there's little room to hide.

'Honor-based'. lol. That will impress the attack dogs.
