    Think about this Boys
    Assume I am a $500 a game bettor. Also assume that I'm playing -110 and manage to hit 56%. Over the NBA season I will make 1000 plays.

    Wins = 560* 500=280,000
    Losses = 440*550 = -242,000

    Profit = 38,000

    I spent an average of 25 hours a week on capping and watching the games. That is about 625 hours a month. The NBA season is a bit over 8 months. So my total hours is 625*8=5000.

    Hourly profit is 38000/5000= $ 7.6

      I presented the best case scenario. Probably 90% of us won't hit 56%. Just want to show how hard it's to beat this.

        If you hit 56% over 1000 plays, you're going to increase your bet size along the way, trust me.

          If you can hit 56%, I wouldn't be to worry about your hourly rate, you will be cleaning up if you know how to position your bets.

            anyone who seriously want to make a living at this should be wagering $1000 per game at the least.

            also, the job is better than lifting boxes or other manual labour and you say it's only 25hr per week and that you pay urself to watch the games! the actual work/capping part is almost minimal if 25hrs per week are allocated for BOTH that and watching the game.

              If I would be betting 1000 a game ,using the same assumptions the hourly profit is still only $15. Also you have to discount the pressure factor of risking 5000 a night and other negative effects.

                      his math is way off.. you would make way more per hour than that. especially if only 'working' 25 hrs per week.

                            If you're only spending 25 hours/week,

                            a) you probably won't hit 56% and
                            b) that is about 3 hrs a day, for 8 months (say 240 days), 38K/720 = $52.78/hour.

                                      Anyone who spends that amount of time handicapping games and still bets into -110 lines deserves nothing better.
                                      With Matchbook, Phoenix and others (many others if you are not American) offering much lower juice you would have to be mad (56% ´cappers tend not to be mad).
