I'm taping the Chargers/Titans game to watch late tonight.
I'm placing a larger than normal bet on the Chargers +1. Afterwards I'm gonna go by the families house and attempt to enjoy my Christmas dinner without checking the score at all. I can never pull this feat off though because of too many options of getting the score. I would like nothing more than to come home after a long Christmas Day, put the family to sleep and crack a cold beer and watch the game without knowing the outcome. All I want for Christmas is the Chargers to cover.

just don't come near SBR when you get home because you'll find out the winner instantly.. don't open up any radio, even a music station.. i have taped 403 games in my life and 87% of the time, i always accidentally got the score. nothing more frustrating in my career when going to college all day, taping the big game 7 NHL finals, only to hear some asshole on the bus say the score.. i wanted to kill him, but it wasn't his fault.

and you know how useful it becomes to watch a game when you know who won. so don't open any radio or internet, or especially SBR.. good luck

It's tough blocking out the score. You are 100% right Nicky, someone always kills it by saying it inside a store or in a restaurant. If you can somehow block it out it makes watching the game so much better. Fast-forwarding thru commercials and halftime is GREAT.
