Why do I wait until the last minute?

I do the same shit every Christmas which is to way until the last minute to buy gifts. Now I am waiting for 4 FedEx and UPS deliveries hoping they make it. I have been tracking them and it looks like at least 1 of them might not make it.

Now I could be scrambling this afternoon hitting the stores if any of the stuff doesn't show up. I always tell myself I will not procrastinate next year but then I still do.

I have to go to in law get together. Believe me I would much rather sit home by myself than go.

I will be drinking while I am there as that is the only way I can deal with them.
