First of all, there was no need for him to be arrested if he wasn't hurting anyone. And his victims shouldn't even have cared. Their farts don't cost them money.
Second, I hate how people just label these people and then just look down on them. No one ever questions or looks for a deeper understanding. Why the hell is he sniffing butts? It's not like we all have the urge and he somehow just couldn't contain himself. In this case, it must be something genetic in him which makes him have the urge. He needs people to question and understand instead of just be arrested.
