Who you side with Favre or Childress?
    Think is a no brainer..Favre

Childress is showing that he is control freak, and I guess he doesnt remember all the positive plays Favre has made on audibles that Tavaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels could never have done.

How many playoff appearances has Childress made. How many has Brett Farve made. I side with Brett Farve.

Neither, although Childress should have known that this would happen if he brought him into Minn...

bottom line, all the other great QB's respect their Coach and make it known in the public eye and media that the coach is boss.... you undermine him, and you risk having the whole team begin to question him, splitting the locker room, dealing with media circus....... and guess what

you just lost focus on the entire goal of the season: winning, and winning the super bowl

Both have handled the situation completely wrong. Childress should include Favre more in the game plan. Favre shouldn't over ride his coach. Childress is an idiot for trying to bench his Qb when they are UP. I think ESPN is making a mountain out of a mole hill, but the situation is going to get better from here on out. If not, Childress is an idiot and shouldn't be coaching in the first place.

I think the media blew up a non-story. So the coach and QB had a conversation/disagreement on the sidelines? So what? Both want to win and that's what it's all about.

Everyone knows Favre is super-competitive so of course he would bristle at anyone talking about pulling him. That is a good quality.

Childress, if he really wants to pull Favre, needs to just do it and not discuss it. That's what coaches have to do to maintain their authority.

I can understand a coaches concern with Brett Favre doing whatever the hell he wants because he does have 315 INTs but really, Brett Favre is Brett Favre.

                  Childress cannot "pull" Favre.
If Favre wants to stay on the field, he stays. PERIOD.
Any repurcussions would be initiated by the GM or owner (ya, right..)

Favre is an egomaniacal clown...Minnesota meltdown began three weeks ago in Arizona.

Childress recently received a contract extension worth $5M a year..... which he would never have gotten without Favre.

He needs to shut his bald headed face up and let Favre call his own plays like Peyton.

                          Minny is done
Minny would be like 3-10 without Favre
