Is it harder once the playoffs start? Are a lot of players eliminated because they don't have a wild card team to play? Just wondering. I have Arizona left, but if I play them Sunday, I probably will not have a wild card team if I make it that far. How does this thing change strategy wise in the playoffs? Do you have to hope for upsets in the playoffs to win, or just play as you normally play during the regular season? Feedback. I need help.

#2I am advancing in mine as well, Seaborne, but I can't really help, because mine is a "pick whoever you want" pool. No eliminating of teams. Why don't you contact the person who runs yours (via e-mail or whatever) to ask whether it "starts fresh" in the playoffs... That would stink if you run out of teams.
So in mine it started with 641 people and down to 46! Pot is $12,179!!!Comment -

#10Seaborne, I"ll try to help if you help me with mine. Ask me one or two specific questions though...
In mine, I can pick ANYONE. So who do you think is the biggest lock to win their game this week?
So many options... Cincy? SF? Arizona? NO? Packers?Comment -

There are still a lot of us even though 96% have been eliminated. I don't think it will last to the Super Bowl because no one seems to have all 12 teams who will make the playoffs left. Not that you need them, but you need your 4 teams to win in the playoffs. I have Denver, Pittsburgh, Dallas, NO, Indy, Arizona, Miami, as possible playoff teams left. So I would probably take Arizona in the WC round, Indy in the second round, Dallas or NO in the conference championship, and whoever is left for the Super Bowl. Now how likely is that to happen?Comment -

#17I see why this thing is so hard. You still need 4 teams to win after next week. Most of are already down to less than 6 teams left for potential playoff picks.Comment -

#25Seaborne, I'm alive in mine with my Cowboys pick -- If Arizona can hang on, we're down to SEVEN from the original 641!!! $12,179.00!!!!!!!!!!
If Green Bay pulls it out, there are still 11 people.
Come on, Cardinals!!!!!!!

#28I am checking now. It won't be a splitting of the pool. Some players have only 1 playoff team left with 3 week to go. Next week should be less than 50 players left and probably another 50 with no teams left to play the championship games.Comment -

#30Originally posted by CapybaraSure enough, just got an e-mail from the administrators... at least one person has expressed interest in splitting our pot... but it has to be unanimous. If it comes down to me, what should I do?! This is gonna be a tough call! I'm a gambler, but on the other hand, it's $1,739.86 in my pocket right now. Hmmm......Comment -

#31Less than 10 of us have 4 teams left and a real chance to win barring upsets. I can handle anything but an Indy upset loss to the Colts. This is the plan, well actually I don't have a choice. Dallas beats Minny, New Orleans beats Dallas, and Indy beats New Orleans in the Super Bowl. If those things happen I win or share the 25k. To hedge I have a future with San Diego winning it all just in case something goes terribly wrong.Comment -

What do you think about the seven of us taking 1,000 each and then playing for the last 5,179?? That's another possibility.Comment -
