    Bet Royal Update
I posted on the Forum a week ago about my problems with Bet Royal, just wanted to update those of you that took interest in that post, that Royal DID procees part of my withdraw and sent me a check via UPS, which I received this morning. Which was great to see (if it doesn't bounce), HOWEVER, I had requested a bank wire many weeks ago, and the funds had been debited from my account early last week, and still have not recieved my wire for $9000. I have made numerous calls to Royal and have battled through countless stall tactics, and still they can not give me a reasonable answer as to why I was to able receive a check before I was able to receive a wire which was requested weeks ago??? They seem to think I should have it by the end of this week???? I will be the first to acknowledge that they did cooperate with my check, but until I receive me wire I will make it a mission to make as many people aware of their incapable ability to pay their winners. I would think $9000, would be pretty cheap compared to all the negative attention they recieve from these forums. If any body has any suggestions as to what I can do to get my money, i would greatly appreciate the input, and, yes, I have spoken with Bill Dozer who has given me great direction already.
    Thanks, SOTA30

What's the date on the check?

Can you tell when the UPS was sent?

Your original post states on 11/22 that you had been trying to get your money for four weeks. No money was sent until you started making noise about your situation in public, and that's the only hope anyone who is owed over $5,000 has with that dump. God help the player who builds up a large balance and doesn't know about the forums.

Royal pays the posters they can ID to keep the complaints to a minimum. They are obviously in deep trouble. Consider yourself lucks to have found this place.

Five weeks to send you half of your money??? They are broke.

from some of the posts i've read in the past few weeks. it sure does sound like there running on fumes JC. but, the thing about royal. is the fact they always managed to come over adversity in the past. so, with that being said. what makes you feel they won't pull thru once again ?

If they are not broke then double shame on them for having no honor. They can pay the player HIS money but dont. Oh they may pay in time, if they feel like it, and if the player has heard of a website like SBR. Otherwise? give him excuse #16.

If I don't receive my funds soon, I would like to contact the licensing agency with the government of Costa Rica. Does any body have any information about the best way to go about that? I have read on their web site that they are fully licensed by the government of Costa Rica. But, then again they also have the following posted on their web site under "About Us":
Get the best offshore sports wagering has to offer; personalized professional service, opinionated lines, and prompt return of funds free. Our professional staff with a decade of experience in the sports gaming business is the core of the “Royal Treatment” that you receive. This wealth of experience, and one to one service platform separates us from our competition. We know what you want and how to provide it for you, while maintaining the finest in value added product. Royal is unparalleled when it comes to safety, security and providing the finest service in the industry.

Bottom line: Royal pays, that's the way it is, and has been for over 9 years.
Obviously, i would prefer not to have to this type of action, but when you are repeatedly told that they are not sure when I will recieve my bank wire, this gets to be very old.
Any heldful information would be greatly appreciated.

Sota, sadly Costa Rica has no real government licensing agency or anyone in the government who is willing to look into these things. One reason among several why Costa Rica tends to attract more scam books.
