Question about the SBR Picks contests

Forgive me if I am being obtuse, but what does the "action" column represent in these contests?

action points... it only matters in the action points style contests... and I think there is only one of them thus far... the bowls contest

action points is simply how many points the team you picked beat the spread by... so if you have zona-3 and the win by 10 you get 7 action points.... or if you have gardner webb +26 and the lose by 18 you get 8 action points
