    oz hotel and sportsbar for sale,jaco,c.r.
    my real estate agent is pushing this on me.was purchased a year ago by a gringo for 2.3 million then 1 million added in kitchen equip. etc...now the owner wants out for 2.2 million.nice to own a whorehouse in jaco but if the other gringo lost seems like id do the same.any feedback or experiences there

      oz hotel and sportsbar,in downtown jaco,almost on the beach.i believe sex tourism is going to continue to grow.places like the del ray protect the customer from arrest for statuatory rape.like the idea of the sportsbar too.anyone want to pitch in.

          thanks,thinking of a possible retirement when my son graduates in a couple years.owned a titty bar in dallas about 18 years ago,this seems like it would be alot funner,but would probably lose my ass or life

            Jaco is not dangerous at all... As far as business there are so many whore houses in Jaco that I don't see why invest so much money into one more... So many different things to invest down here that I wouldn't reccomend a whore house.

              i,m currently in petroleum transportation.last trip to c.r. saw alot of tankers navigating those narrow,winding highways-during the transportation strike.you,re right about opportunity-2 agents i know have opened auto body shop and barbeque joints since i first met them.both american seeking fresh starts

                IMO buying it would be a disaster. 1) It's not your game. 2) Unless you have an integrated plan to bring in biz, not enough high end walk-up in Jaco. 3) It's really tricky to do business in CR as a gringo, and being associated with the sex business makes you vulnerable to all kinds of extra harassment.

                Also if you're thinking of retiring here (in CR) you should spend at least a year living here to see if day to day it is what you think it is before stranding a big part of your capital here.
