Finished my Christmas shopping and was fascinated by the diametric opposites in crowds at various stores.
First stop was at the Nike Outlet and there was an overflow of African-Americans. I don't think they were there for the Tiger Woods fidelity starter kid.
Then I go to Barnes and Noble and the upper socio-economical strata were omnipresent stuffing their literary stockings.
Last stop was at the Hallmark store to pick up some cards. Remember the old saying "I went to a fight and hockey game broke out"? Well, I went to a Hallmark store and a Klan rally broke out. Unless it is was anti-sickle-cell day and I was caught unawares, no excuse for a white out proportional to a P.W. Botha campaign fundraiser.
Just sayin'.
