Black people don't shop at Hallmark
Finished my Christmas shopping and was fascinated by the diametric opposites in crowds at various stores.

First stop was at the Nike Outlet and there was an overflow of African-Americans. I don't think they were there for the Tiger Woods fidelity starter kid.

Then I go to Barnes and Noble and the upper socio-economical strata were omnipresent stuffing their literary stockings.

Last stop was at the Hallmark store to pick up some cards. Remember the old saying "I went to a fight and hockey game broke out"? Well, I went to a Hallmark store and a Klan rally broke out. Unless it is was anti-sickle-cell day and I was caught unawares, no excuse for a white out proportional to a P.W. Botha campaign fundraiser.

    Just sayin'.

      Great thread, sir.

If ever there are riots in your city, do you know the safest place to be?

To answer that it would depend on whether I was black or white. Or Asian, Indian, or Eskimo for that matter.

I do know I would not bunker at the Nike Store regardless of my ethnicity.
