Legends: Weekly Betting Roundup for December 14-20
Weekly Betting Roundup for December 14-20
    B. Sharps / Head Linesman / Legends

The week started out good for the house as San Francisco beat Arizona 24-9 and the house also picked up the chase second half money. Tuesday, in the NBA, the Lakers land 9, a number that is never good in the NBA when it is cheap to buy and which I suggest you buy, especially if you have a -105 out and can buy a half point. The house made a little money back when Phoenix covered the 2 over the Spurs. Wednesday the public tabbed Orlando, Atlanta, Utah, and the Spurs; the house countered with the Bucks and the Rockets to salvage the day.

Thursday saw the public’s favorite team of all time, the Colts, rack up another profit for the bettors as it came Colts and over; the books that were around in the 80's have the same opinion of Manning as they do of Montana: great QB but an expensive one. Friday in the NBA saw the public win with Toronto, Atlanta, and Oklahoma City and the house countered with Philly, the Bucks (bookies’ favorite team) and New Orleans to have a winning night for the house.

Saturday, Dallas and under was a big score for the house, as the unstoppable Saints looked mortal, finally. The public retaliated a little with Rutgers and over but the NFL game was of course bigger. On Sunday, the public won with Philly, Baltimore, and Atlanta. The house also got middled on Pittsburgh falling 1 and the Patriots falling 7; two very high volume games to get stung by the bigger bettors. The house countered with Miami, Detroit, Cincy, Saint Louis and the Raiders; these games were big also because they were huge teaser games for the public, so all in all a good week to be a boomaker.

Good luck players; talk to you next week!
