I haven't been there in 15 years or so. I could only imagine what it is like now. Northland and Summit Place would be another example. Urban decay.

I know the owners of Universal Mall(12 Mile and Dequindre), talk about urban decay. That place is a wreck. Movie theater there is the only thing left.

They are actually pretty wealthy, they own Troy Sports Center, John R Tire and Spring, Bostick Transmission.

The smart people diversified. They seem to have made some wise moves into the aftermarket.
Detroit real estate is in the sewer. You can't drive through W. Bloomfield, Southfield, Warren, etc. without seeing 'For Sale' signs and boarded up storefronts.

Funny takes on the John R. avenue. I can confirm it is an actual street in Troy, MI. Ask Buztah. Word has it he hangs out in Troy a lot.
