    Excel help
I was using the old pen and paper and now I want to use Excel but while trying to do a sheet I have some trouble doing things. I would need some help to do some things:

    1) Each time I start to write my matchup info in column 2 I want column 1 to be autofilled with todays date. So I want an autofill A for function today each time I start writing in B

    2) I want to do some letter shortcuts ex: I write m and enter and its write moneyline or r (enter) and its write Runline

    3) Something a little bit more complex, I want a TOTAL DAY PROFIT row who will sum all the profit made that day.

    4) And finnaly I dont know if we can do this but can I have for my TOTAL DAY PROFIT the money and unit profit in the same cell separed with a backslash? EX: +200$/+2.0u or -1243$/-5.2u

    Thank you very much guys

Read up in Excel about the "SUM IF" function, and that will enable you to do most of what you want I think.

One very annoying thing I had to learn the hard way when I taught this to myself, is that "SUM IF" doesn't actually go into effect unless, after you have entered in the formula, you press shift+control+enter. After you do that, brackets appear in the function bar, and it will work. But if you don't do that, the cell will just say zero. I remember going nuts trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I eventually somehow found out that you have to press shift+control+enter to make SUM IF work.
