Was I wrong to pass on this once in a lifetime opportunity to have some mushrooms in golden gate park? Anyone done them and if so what was it like? I'm going to talk to my buddy tomorrow and see how it was for him.

What white cultures refer to as hallucinating can easily be considered as visions by native cultures. You don't want to get stuck in drugs, but they do have a role in opening doors. Golden Gate park is unusually...carefree at times...As long as you aren't being lured there by 12 gays guys, one of which is named Fredrico, who cuts hair and gives hot oil massages, I'd say take 'em. Just bring a bunch of cigarettes and rubbers. You never know.Comment -

It's all about setting, mood, and expectations. If you can find the right people and the right place where you can let go and enjoy, do it. If anything is wrong or you feel overly nervous (some nervousness/excitement should be expected) don't do it.
