Had it won, I'm sure it would have been brought up that I was late and doesn't count. I'll admit that I never check post times when I grade unless something is obviously off. I give the benefit of the doubt to the posters that they will post their bet prior to the start of their event. I would have graded this as a loss had Sexy not brought this to my attention.
Would Sexy had mentioned anything if this had been a winner? I don't know.
I guess the right thing to do would have been for Sexy to mention the error right after posting, not 8 or 9 hours later.

The only problem I have is the timing of the thing. If you say, 'Ooops, I'm one or 2 minutes late... does it count?'... that is more palatable than coming back a few hours later.
If you're posting in a last-second situation, you may have a case. And usually it won't make a difference ... unless there's a kick-off return on the first play or something of that nature... where it then becomes dubious, ie, 'Was that before or after the big play?'
I'll let you guys decide as I'm still a little annoyed at ending the day w/ 2 back-to-back half-point losses.Comment
