i have to say i was a big fan of the old stockon/malone combo, it was deadly for all the right reasons imo, they proved day after day that it's a team game and not just a show talent exhibition for individual freaks of nature like jordan (in his late years) and kobe (in his early years).

for some odd reason, it soothes me to watch the pick/roll and know they use actual strategy and basket savvy to win their 60+ game seasons year in and year out.
