I am a rare visitor to `Player´s Talk´ and whilst I read some stuff that Pavy, SamsNCharge, OnTheWhat and The Seer (who´s stuff is good ) write in the respective sports forums, I believe all other other nominees for this most prestigious award hang out almost exclusively here.

Before pacing my imaginary bet I would respectfully inquire what criteria the judges will apply when voting for the winner.

I am working on the pretty safe assumption that most of the nominees are losers (speaking strictly about betting activities, of course), so I am guessing being sharp isn´t a primary criteria. All are prolific posters but most can do days without imparting a single fact or helpful piece of information. How about expletive count or the number of smilies per post - do they come into play?

Looking at Nicky´s opening odds doesn´t give me too many clues. In his accompanying comments, however he mentions consistency a lot, this would appear the key. Consistency of what though? Picking winners? Their stools?

I am prepared to make an imaginary bet of Fishhead sized proportions here, 10% of the winnings if someone can unlock this mystery for me.
