I'm a freebie junky online and can tell people are in a desperation mode for cash for a few different trends that I see forming.There are litterally 10's of thousands of get rich quick-at home-pyramid ponzy business schemes out there and growing by the day.If you take some free premium like I do on occassion you have to give them some old cell phone number so you won't be pestered.They still have methods to get your home number even if you are unlisted though and they are relentless about pitching you their scheme.
Then my e-mail box gets 700 e-mails a day from these same places.It's a hoot to talk to these people getting entertained by their line of bull.I know this stuff has been around on match book covers forever but it has reached a new pinnacle lately.
The other day this place was giving away no obligation free trials where they gave you a free $20 so I called and talked to the 18 year old gal operator.She didn't know of course I was just in it for the free $20 and not the membership paying $49 a month.She felt sorry for me and she kept babbling about,don't do it,don't take it under her breath.She probably just wanted to pick up some baddly needed cash working in a boileroom for a few weeks before they fired her and she had a conscience about not being a part of ripping anyone off.God knows,maybe it was part of an identity theft ring and she didn't want people to be on the wrong end of it.
Then another harbenger or barometer of tough times is the fact that there are litterally 100's of thousands of women posing on these mafia run online porno sites.It used to be where just drug addicted skanks did this to make money now it seems like farm girls and church gals are doing it.What a shame that these beautiful pure looking young girls are doing this crap.Then you see older women too where they look actually classy and elegant where they are the librarian next door types.
Then what about the debt consolidation ads that you are bombarded with 10 times an hour watching t.v.or listening to the radio.Then you have the lawyer ads drumming up lawsuits.The best commercials run on Maury Povich and Jerry Springer though.They are these rent a DVD player you can get for $40 at Best Buy for $18 a month for a year and stuff like that.Then there are tons of pawn shop ads,get 50 K government student loans for beautician school even if you don't have hands.OK,maybe I'm exagerating on the last one but there are allot more outrageous ads I didn't even come close to touching on here.
Then you have all branches of government to bring in casinos to pay taxes,legalize dope for tax revenue,bring in nuke waste sites,high security prisons etc.etc.just in the name of spuring on economic growth in gutted and depleted areas caused by a collapse of past government monetary and financial failures etc.
I think things aren't as good economically as the government wants you to believe in my humble opinion.It sort of reminds me of a styro cheeseburger box I picked up that was vibrating.It turned out where the quarter pounder was eaten by thousands of magots that were encased in the box and they probably had to start eating each other after the food was eaten.
