    Gamebookers Outrage
    All,

I wonder if anyone else has come across Gamebookers half time money line feature ? If you use them then I think you need to know about it because it is outrageous.

I placed a £200 bet at 1.55 on Memphis v Houston the other night on the first half ML.

The half time score was 37-37.

When I logged into my account I noticed that it had £200 less in it than I thought. It appears that they do not view this to be a push. This is despite the fact that they do not offer any odds on the draw. I can only assume that they are taking all money from punters placed on this market.

Their terms and condition are at best ambiguous but despite two e-mails to date I have had no satisfactory response and it seems clear that they have no intention on returning my money.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I should have posted in the forum earlier ... within 2 minutes of posting it I got the following e-mail ...

    Dear Sir,

We would like to inform you that the following event:
HOU Rockets v MEM Grizzlies [1st Half Lines] was resettled by our Live score
    service.

Please, be advised that the return of some of your bets (Slip ID [25975197])
might have been affected by the resettlement procedure.

    Kind Regards,

    Gamebookers betting service

Full refund recieved ... and quite right too!

      Hi Spud,

Welcome to SBRforum. That should always be a push. As you may be noticing, Gamebookers makes quite a few errors booking and grading their US sporting events. I would suggest keeping a close eye on them, especially when placing your wagers. If they have the wrong venue or time listed they may void tha wager when it is completed. Since they usually spot the errors when grading, you may think you have action when you do not. This really irks the Euro bettors looking for their "sure bets".

        Thanks Bill,

Interesting that you refer to "the Euro bettors looking for their "sure bets" as I actually fall into this category" !

Thanks for the advice. I'll be following the lead given by some of my fellow Europeans which is to withdraw my money at the earliest opportunity!

they are trustable as far as your money goes. Great selection of events, but they do have very unattractive prices. There's loads of better books around so i don't bother with them anymore. Prefer Pinnacle, Cris and Pointbet.
