BOYS THIS HALL OF FAME PITCHER WAS A LOCAL KID FROM NEWTON MASS. HE PITCHED 12 SEASONS IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES.HE HAD HIS BEST YEARS WITH OAKLAND A'S BACK IN 1984 -1987 HE ALSO PITCHED FOR ASTROS AND MARLINS AND FINISHED HIS CAREER RIGHT BACK IN BOSTON FOR THE RED SOX.BOYS THIS GUY WAS A REAL FIREBALLER EVEN IN HIGH SCHOOL HE WAS REACHING 90 ON THE GUN.
