I think they would be willing to lower the bar to keep him in order to:
1: Have a QB in the same system for a 2nd year for a change.
2. Use their draft picks on the OL and to get a rushing DE or speed burner/PR on Offense.Comment -

He telegraphs most of his passes, he doesn't adjust to the D that they give him (throwing the ball away doesn't count), and he won't win you many games himself.
I don't want the 9ers to waste a first round pick on a QB cause I don't feel that there are any sure franchise QBs in the draft...but any chance Mallett falls to the 2nd round?Comment -
