Jazz Sportsbook - took 16 days for my payout...
In the beginning of May, I joined Jazz Sportsbook. I deposited $1000 via Moneybookers and took their 15% bonus promotion. In the next few weeks, I placed several wagers, completed my bonus rollover requirements and exceeded the requirements by a grand or so. At this point, my original deposit of $1000 turned into $4763 and I wanted to withdraw my winnings. So I made a request to withdraw everything back to Moneybookers, but soon learned that Jazz took Moneybookers off their website because they "maxed the limit" (or something along those lines). I was then told by Harvey that my only options were cashiers check or bank wire, so I opted for the latter. I was told to expect delays of 3-4 days, but I ended up waiting out the entire month of May with no reply from Jazz. I emailed Harvey at least a dozen times or so and he would never send me a message back.

So on 5/30/2007, I hit up live support to see what was going on, and well, you can read the rest below. Scott, or Jazz, thinks I am part of some gambling ring and someone's controlling what I wager and how I wager with absolutely ZERO proof. Then they accuse me of being a bonus whore, claim that $4763 is "change", and reveal their true agenda, that they're intentionally delaying my payout. Way to go Scott =). Blow away more customers.

So I email SBR about this situation and somehow a miracle happens on June 5th. I get an email from Jazz that Moneybookers is "suddenly up" again and I get paid right away. They eventually paid every penny owed to me, but it certainly took a long time. I consider myself lucky because I know others have gone through worse incidents where they don't get paid at all. If anyone decides to play here, try not to triple or quadruple your balance. Me thinks they hate winners.

Below is the complete transcript of your chat session:

    X: payout

You are now speaking with Scott of Customer Support.

    Scott: Hello

    X: Hello

X: I have a problem with your sportsbook..

    Scott: What's the problem?

X: I requested a payout on May 21 and it still has not been processed. In fact, I don't think you guys even bothered to start the process...

Scott: what is your account number?

    X: asdasdasd

Scott: How did you request the payout?

X: I spoke to Harvey via email and he said he'd start a bank wire transfer on May 21 (the only withdrawal option for Canadians other than check)

X: Since then, he has ignored all my emails.

Scott: I will check with Harvey

    X: Ok.....

X: do you still offer Moneybookers withdrawal?

    Scott: No, not right now.

Scott: Harvey said that our processing company has reached their limit and can't sending any wires for the rest of this month. It will go out the first week of June.

X: Why didn't he tell me that himself then??

X: I emailed him more than a dozen times with no reply.....

Scott: He said that he has replied to your e-mails, he must not have received the others, but that's where we stand for now.

X: What sportsbook-to-sportsbook options do you offer?

Scott: You wouldn't be able to do a sportsbook transfer since you deposited via Moneybookers.

X: It's nice to know that you guys make it so difficult for Canadians to get their money back

X: Maybe I shouldn't tell my friends to play here....after all the hassles I have to go through

Scott: Honestly we don't care for bonus whores like you.

Scott: So tell all your friends not to play with us.

    X: Who says I'm a bonus whore?

    Scott: I do

    X: Proof?

Scott: Deposit, as soon as you meet rollover withdrawal.

Scott: there is a large group of you from Canada doing this so as long as you guys continue we will continue to stall with your payouts.

X: That is just an assumption. Do you ever think of other reasons why people need their money?

Scott: do you ever think of depositing and not receiving a bonus?

X: No, because you offer one.

X: That's the business and the enticement. Would I go to a store when their clothes are on "sale" or pay regular price?

Scott: Well this store will give you your change in a couple of weeks, until then take care.

    X: My change...yeah...$ 4763 is change

X: You guys are a joke, "stalling" payments for no good reason

X: I guess everyone that comes here has to lose millions of dollars to gain respect

Scott: We give respect when it's due.

X: No, you brush off people who win money and withdraw.

Scott: I don't want to continue this chat any longer. Have a nice day and expect your money in 2 weeks.

    X: I hope so

    Scott: bye

    - Your party has left this session. -

    WoW!!

I would be going to Scott and be giving his the royal ass beating he deserves. No one talks to me like that, especially when I am dropping a lot of money into their book to play.

That's ridiculous! They don't want your business and call you a whore just because you won? If you would've lost all your initial deposit, I bet they wouldn't be treating you this way. Thanks for letting us know MT. Also, it appears SBR has some serious clout with these books... they got your $$ for you from these pricks. Guess we're hangin' out with the right dudes!

All these books should be sending their non-US customers their money same-day if they can. My guess is they don't have very many that use Moneybookers and had to fund it.

This isn't the kind of attitude or lack of professionalism you want when MGM finally comes online. Hopefully they realize there is nothing to gain from talking to players on a personal level like this.

haha, is the mgm grand thing a joke? do you ever think vegas will go online? i dont see sportsbetting going online anytime soon...it would be too hypocritical. i could see them legalizing sportsbetting, such as they did with casino gambling.
