Paying it forward, the only way I know how

Was second in line at a 4-way stop this morning in a major shopping centre parking lot. The driver in front of me (black male) and the driver (Chinese lady) in the left perpendicular lane arrived simultaneously at the stop. Both paused a moment, expecting the other to proceed and when neither did, they both took off and almost hit each other, slamming the breaks at the last possible second in the middle of the 4-way. A few words were exchanged and the ole middle finger salute administered. Both drivers had kids in the car. I watched both drivers park near each other in front of a grocery store (they were about 2 rows apart). They both went on their way with their children (no doubt these kids are impressionable). What a sick message their parents sent. No wonder society is phucked up!

I proceeded to key both cars with a can opener I keep in my glove box, tearing the phuck outta the driver's side paint on both vehicles. Each will assume that the other one did the deed as a petty form of revenge. Who knows where this might lead but both drivers were phucking azzholes and wasted my time and karma, well, sometimes she really is a bitch!

I'm all for ****ing with people to prove a point, but I'm not sure you proved a point. Assuming one of them actually puts two and two together and decides this is related to the incident, they are just as likely to attribute it to their bad driving rather than the influence on their children.

You should have followed them in and figured out if either were just making a quick stop. If they were, key the car and then leave a rote a note about endangering children or something similar on the car for them to find while the other people are still inside shopping. If their car is ****ed up with a note and the other is untouched, shit would really have hit the fan.

But as you did it, it's just a petty and pointless crime.

Very thoughtful of you to put things in perspective Buzzy, sometimes you have to thrust it upon people. No doubt your actions will contribute to the development of their children, who when older, will perhaps look back at that day and have a valuable lesson learned. I for one applaud your efforts to reform and assist troubled youth. Please consider a move to the states, you are born to hold political office here.

Razz, it's quite refereshing to see that at least one poster gets it. What I did was not only ethical but laudable. The children will learn that escalating petty misunderstandings (who had the right to proceed first) the way their parents did (yelling and flipping each other off) only leads to harm. This will teach them to turn the other cheek.

I believe another man once taught others to do the same and they crucified him. I am not at all surprised that the degenerates on this board are opposed to my teachings.

Let's keep the hypothetical...

He was committing a non-violent misdemeanor and would most not be charged for involuntary manslaughter in most states. If unfortunate to live in a state where he could be charged, any decent lawyer could get him off.

Maybe his lawyer could convince them he actually keyed 4 cars that day and is just unlucky? Maybe his lawyer could argue that the two of them had a history of altercations? It shouldn't be hard to convince that there must be something else. Who would kill over a keyed car and near-accident?

It's anything but an open and shut case. Could he be arrested? Possible. Would he go to jail. Highly unlikely, especially if he keeps his mouth shut and hires a good lawyer.
