i'm not sure what the curse is about, but it seems to make sense that you have to have all games you are betting posted before the tip time. otherwise there is always wiggle room for someone to say "oh the game was delayed 7 mins" unless there is a way to find out the time of the tip, like there is for the first pitch of baseball. you have to go by posted start time regardless.
the burden of proof is on proving the game didn't start until after 7
