Having a family ,the best thing that ever happened to me !
That is what TIGER was reported to have said in a major interview recorded last month before he became embroiled in this sex scandal .
Maybe he was talking about his "new" family of ladies ,or was it his new ,unfounded yet, bobbleheaded bunch of babies, that may soon pop up ?

Why has only a very few BLASTED this phoney to smithereens on this forum ?

He has further "soiled" the idea, primarily in our youths, that ," a successful, celebrity Father can carry on a truthful image of what Fatherhood is all about ?"

What a letdown from his young followers !

I have mad respect for his golf ability, mental toughness on the course, and his work ethic. I have NEVER been enamored with the way he has carried himself in interviews; he just exudes arrogance, which I guess is not all that surprising considering his meteoric rise to fame in such a short period of time. If what we are hearing is even remotely true (and I am temporarily withholding judgement), then he is trash as a human being. His golf will still speak for itself, which is really all that matters for me.

That is what Nike told him to say. Who cares what Tiger does in his personal life? That is the business of Tiger and his wife. Tiger's job is to hit the ball, and I think he does that pretty well.

Rio,I must disagree with you !
What if your teenage plays golf, and he idolized Tiger?

Then, shouldn't his rotten behavior be addressed and explained to your son ?

Father's of teen aged children should, indeed, be using him as an example of inexcusable decision making .
I certainly wouldn't just turn the other cheek and not speak about it to your teenagers, maybe they need the reassurance that you ,as a Father ,will never condone that type behavior ?

          We are men.

And most men fail to do whats right. A lot of ppl are idolized nowadays, simply because media does this for them. Then its the same media that will bury you.

Tigers biggest mistake was telling media what they could and when they could. Most of them were waiting for this particular moment.

If ur kids idolize a athlete, then maybe u are not doing a good job as a parent.

Now Paco, you can't lump all star athletes into one "bag of garbage "

There are many great players out there that are believer's in high standards, just not as many, percentage wise I bet, as there was 30/40 years ago .
              Like ,to name only a few,Bart Starr,J.Unitas,Montana,H.Arron,Willie Mays !

I agree with your statement, but I also agree with Paco. Remember Sir Charles,"I'm not a role model" , or how about Sonny from Bronx Tale "Does Joe D pay your rent?"
