Ignoring the Lakers, Chicago is in really bad shape. Lately it doesn't take much for them to throw in the towel. The Laker bench is much deeper than Chicago. Until something changes in Chicago ( i.e. Del Negro is fired) the Bulls should be an auto-fade against good teams.

At first glace,laying 9-10 points seems like a gift.. The spread should be more like Lakers -17... I seriously cannot see Chicago even staying close in this 1... they get blown out on a daily basis by every other team around the league.. The Lakers are a high powered offense team, Chicago is not.. This games probably a damn trap in my opinion though, -10 just seems way to easy

I was going to post Chicago plus points before I saw this thread. The truth is that the whole world will lose money today on the Lakers. People are now accustomed to thinking the Bulls are in a funk, which makes Lakers -9.5 look like a "gift". One expects the Lakers to win the game SU but the Bulls will cover the spread. Bad teams ALWAYS show up for this type of games.

I never understood how totals were nearly so exact in the NBA either and the spreads are nearly perfect everytime..Every time a basketball is shot at the hoop, it has a 50/50 chance of going in, it's not something you can predetermine

You have to recognize value in this just a few days ago books had the Celtics at -4.5 against the Bobcats lets just say we had this same conversation about that game Celts won by double digits.Lakers -9 is the correct play and dont dare buy a point waste of juice money when a quality team like this should and will cover .Lakers closes at -11-11.5
