Why do teams telegraph the snap so easily when in the shotgun??

    Why do teams telegraph the snap so easily when in the shotgun??
    I mean it seems that every team does this! Watch how Kurt Warner will left his leg and then the center will raise his head and snap the ball. It happens every time and almost all teams do it. Maybe wait 2 counts or so before snapping

      How else is the center supposed to know when to snap the ball, QB controls the snap not the center for shotgun plays.

          Crowd noise. One of the advantages of home field. The leg lifting is a signal is also a signal to bring someone in motion. In college, you use to have to lift your leg to bring someone in motion. Qbs would do this nearly every play to help prevent a false start so they may have scrapped it.
