Wouldnt this be the best way of making money

Ok I was thinking if I just betted on NBA games and start off with $5000. Bet the whole $5000 on Boston or Lakers if Kobe is around on teams they are sure to win. Only play straight M lines. Sure you might only get $2000 - $3000 back, but its a sure win most of the time. Do it for 84 games and you know the Lakers and Boston are winning at least 60 games. Wouldn't one be up making serious cash if betted $5000 all the time.

Also bet when if the Nets are playing bet the other team. If someone started to bet $5000 all the time against the other team and the Nets right now is 2 wins and 22 losses They are up for sure. Wouldn't this plan work, have someone tried it. At this rate the Nets might have at the end of the season 11 or 12 wins.

In theroy. Here is the problem. What happens when the Warriors or some other "Live dog" team beats one of these guys at HOME and the money line was -950 you are down all your profit

Yeah, I think you have it all figured out king. If everyone was as smart as you, there would be no Las Vegas or offshore sportsbooks. I don't know how these places stay in business.

You lose 1 time next game you do the same bet over and over for $5000. If you started from the start you are sure to win 60 games out of 84. If the average winning give back $3000 for 60 games and you lose $5000 for 24 games you make a profit of $132,000 for one team, now if you did 2 teams $264,000.

Wouldn't this be the best thing to do. Has it also been tested.

Nets will eventually start winning more games. They are on a serious bad streak.

Lakers are never guaranteed to win. Perfect example would be against the Jazz the other night.

Gl if you use this strategy. Would be interesting to see if someone could actually get up quite a bit doing this strategy. Seeing as if you lose a few bets you've lost 10 grand. Then turn around and win the next 2 and only gain 6 grand from those 2 wins. You still need to win a few more to gain back from those losses. So I mean just a few losses will really screw you.

Doesn't work that way, you can't lay $5000 to win $2000-$3000 on the Lakers or Celtics ML's consistently. The return is usually far less. You may very well show a profit at the end of the year by doing this, but it won't be anywhere near the number you suggested.
