Nicky, far be it for a commoner such as myself to question but should the "Curse" be wasted on someone who is'nt a consistant winner? By laying your curse on Sammy you have given him an excuse from this point forward. Now when he flames out it won't be due to bad selections it will be due to the curse.

If Sammy defies the curse and continues to win at an alarming rate he will say he defeated your curse. The truth is that he wasn't yet worthy of the curse so it technically was never in effect. Sammy won'tunderstand that tough and will then start promoting himself as the Nicky Santoro Curse Slayer. It naturally won't be true but he will gain notoritity from his claims and unsuspecting future newbies will see this and be amazed and ultimately start to tail Sammy.
